Hose to Hose Whip Check
Selection
- Determine the hose I.D. (Inside Diameter).
- Determine assembly working pressure in PSI.
- Select the proper cable from the Hose Restraint Section (Win United 2014 Catalogue).
Example: Secure hose to the adjoining hose – Hose to Hose style
- Hose I.D.: 11/2″
- Working Pressure: 125 PSI
- Safety Cable required: WU-RS-1103
Hose to Hose Whip Check
Installation
- Open the cable loop on one end and slide it over the coupling of one hose.
- Open cable loop on the other end and slide it over the coupling on the other hose.
- Connect the hoses.
- Remove slack by sliding cable loops as far apart as possible and equidistant from the connection.
Note: Under no circumstances should the assembly working pressure or working temperature exceed the working pressure or working temperature of the lowest rated component coupling, clamp, ferrule, or hose).
